UHY Fay & Co creates an International Economic Forum |

UHY Fay & Co has signed an agreement with the Marbella city council to organize the Marbella-Costa del Sol International Economic and Business Forum, an annual meeting of highly influential leaders that will address the challenges facing the economy and businesses in general. The first edition is planned to take place at the beginning of 2009.
UHY Fay & Co will involve its global network UHY, and its more than 190 offices located in the main business centers around the world, in order to attract international business leaders to the event. Bernard Fay, parter of UHY Fay & Co and member of the Board of Directors of UHY, comments: "this year the UHY Annual General Meeting will take place in Madrid and we would like to take this opportunity to boost the initiative within UHY".
UHY Fay & Co is amongst Spain´s Top 20 firms providing professional services. It is also member of UHY, an international association of independent accounting and consultancy firms that is also amongst the Top 20 global networks. Joseph Fay, partner of UHY Fay & Co and Chairman of the International Tax Special Interest Group of UHY comments that: "we have chosen Marbella to celebrate the forum because it is an attractive and international city with influence to get media coverage and a very high potential to become an economic reference and knowledge hub at a national and international level"
The Marbella-Costa del Sol International Economic and Business Forum will have an initial duration of a full day during which a discussion panel with several experts in economy and business will take place followed by a conference of a first class leader in the international economic or business world. The day will end with a cocktail during which guests will be able to exchange views and discuss initiatives.
