{"id":14060,"date":"2023-06-21T10:45:26","date_gmt":"2023-06-21T09:45:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uhy-fay.com\/?p=14060"},"modified":"2023-06-21T10:45:42","modified_gmt":"2023-06-21T09:45:42","slug":"non-residents-paying-wealth-tax-spain-claim-money","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uhy-fay.com\/en\/blog\/non-residents-paying-wealth-tax-spain-claim-money\/","title":{"rendered":"Non residents paying wealth tax in Spain can claim their money back"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>If you paid Wealth Tax in Spain as Non Resident in the last 4 years there may be an opportunity to get a refund from the Spanish Tax Authorities.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last February, our Partner and Head of Tax, Inmaculada Domecq, published a very interesting article at Legal Today about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uhy-fay.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Real-Estate-Tax-Spain-UHY-Oct21-ESP.pdf\">Wealth Tax<\/a> payable by non-residents in Spain<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>. In her opinion there are grounds enough as to consider the Wealth Tax to be discriminatory for Non Residents in accordance with the EU legislation.
