UHY Fay & Co incorporates Begoña Castillo Velasco as its new Chief Operating Officer

UHY Fay & Co, a leading professional services firm in the top 20 ranking nationwide, incorporates Begoña Castillo as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Castillo assumes a strategic role that covers key areas such as talent management, marketing and communication, administration and finance, knowledge management, digital transformation, innovation and general services.

“My goal in the firm is to reach the definitive consolidation of UHY Fay & Co, supervising the operations and procedures of the organization, maintaining control of different business operations with efficiency and effectiveness, guaranteeing the functionality of the firm and thus promoting profitable growth, in a steady and sustainable way”, says Begoña.

Her mission is, therefore, to make a qualitative leap in the organization of the firm directed to the optimization of the provision of services, “always with excellence as the objective”, underlines Castillo. In other words, with this signing, the firm seeks to grow as an organization and improve the professional projection of all UHY Fay & Co professionals, “always putting clients and people at the center of the organization”.

Castillo has a degree in Business Administration and Management from the European Business School and has completed the AD-1 Business Senior Management program at the San Telmo International Business School. She has an outstanding professional career of over 23 years, throughout which she has held various management positions. Begoña lands at UHY Fay & Co after carrying out, for the last 18 years, the position of director of the main business association of Marbella, CIT Marbella (Centro de Iniciativas Turísticas de Marbella), an organization that has nearly 500 associated companies, from more than 70 sectors of productive activity.

Castillo assumes the challenge of joining a mature organization, with more than 40 years of experience, which at an international level has more than 8,000 professionals and 300 offices in 100 countries and which has managed to position itself among the top 20 national professional services firms.
