The Global Compact is a UN initiative that leads business sustainability in the world. A call to companies and organizations to align their strategies and operations with the Ten Universal Principles on human rights, labor standards, the environment and the fight against corruption. This initiative was launched more than 20 years ago when it was announced by Kofi Annan at the World Economic Forum at its 1999 annual meeting.
